Biographical Statement:

PhD, Professor, Vice president of Jiangsu University. He is a Ph.D supervisor, the pace-setter of the provincial key academic discipline of clinical examination diagnosis and enjoys the state council special allowance, Director of Institute of Clinical Laboratory Medicine,Academic leader of Qinglan Project of Jiangsu province. He is the executive member of Chinese Society of Immunology (The chairman of the Jiangsu Society of Immunology), the executive member of Chinese Society of Microbiology, vice chief member of Jiangsu Society of Microbiology and Immunology of Chinese Medical association, and member of the Ministry of Public Health Guiding Committee of College Medical Textbook Construction. Besides, he is the editor-in-chief of Journal of Jiangsu University (Medicine Edition), member of the editing board of Shiyong Laonian Yixue and Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin. He has supervised 30 doctoral candidates and more than 30 master’s degree candidates.

Biographical Statement:

His research has been focusing on autoimmune diseases (such as rheumatoid arthritis and Hashimoto's thyroiditis) and tumor immunology. Studies in RA patients and animal model have aimed to examine the subset of CD4+T cells and its role in maintaining quality control and homeostasis in the immune system. He is also interested in studying the tumor therapy by biological response modifiers. As Principle Investigator, he has chaired and completed more than 10 national and provincial research projects sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, and won a number of provincial prizes for his academic achievements. He has published more than 100 academic papers in such prestigious periodicals as J Immunol, Eur J Immunol, Am J Pathol, J Clin Endocrinol Metab, Oncoimmunology, Cancer Letter, PNAS U S A, etc. He has supervised more than 40 doctoral and master’s degree candidates
